What's the weekend look like for people?

So I'm enjoying my last weekend of freedom before the shackles of a classroom are bolted in place :bounce: I will most likely spin records Friday and might even venture out Saturday (odd I can actually dance ) I might just choose to be a couch patato and text people and watch movies / TV though:P

I am performing in a music ensemble for a local public figure's funeral, and then the rest of my weekend will be the whole "getting mentally ready" for my recital... which means I don't want to do anything. lol

Can't say I blame ya ! What instrument(s) do you play ?

Well, on Saturday dear wife his having a Tupperware party.
So lots of wives, all trash talking their husbands while looking at plastic containers.

I think this is an excellent time to escape on my bike. Go for a 20km ride to a shopping mall, see a movie and eat foodcourt Chinese food. And then ride back home a few hours later.
I think this is a good plan.

Yes ! biking is a very good escape! I'm a commited cyclist and enjoy it very much !

What kind of trips do you do?

Well I don't do as much touring as I'd like to and I'm not a "competition " rider actually I have this loop I do way up here in the New Mexico moutains that is pretty intensive. I really enjoy the "road work" here but it took awhile for my body to adjust being originally from a much lower attitude. This summer I would like to do weekend camping tours. There is so much beatiful desert / mountain areas here in NM :)

Sounds like you are in a good part of the world for it.

Me, I don't have quite that grand plans. Just rides to work mainly. Or just head outwards for a day.

Weekends - no daily obligations, but more peril of feeling unpleasant of self, because of more time to not to archive essentials.
