What's your current favourite T Shirt?

I quite like getting T Shirts with funny or cute designs on them. Usually mine are cat themed 😸 I've said before that I seem to communicate through the medium of T Shirts. Here's my current favourite one...

😸 I'm definitely an indoor cat, well most of the time. I'm sure lots of you will have similar T Shirts or Hoodies count too, so it would be fun to see your favourites at this moment I'm time! :-) They don't necessarily have to have some kind of humourous design, they can just be something that you enjoy wearing because it has a nice pattern or something :-)

They do do a cat version!!!! 😸😸😸😸😸 I really have to get this and the cat kinda looks like my cat when he was a kitten too!!

I haven't worn a T Shirt since back when I was young and pretty. :) I tend to go for singlets instead.

Oh I should have thought of those sorts of garments too! :-) Hopefully people will infer that "T Shirt" isn't really a prerequisite, more of a "serving suggestion" 😸

It's actually pretty cool that they make those for the Social Security Department. I've never seen anything like that in the UK. I think printing their name on clothing is probably a good way of normalising the concept of a social security department. It also, I suppose raises awareness of it's existence. And!!! If nothing else, it gives students something to wear "ironically" 😸

I have a hoodie that has a picture of a cat leaping out of a medical bottle labeled "Anti Depressants". The joke being that cat hugs make great anti depressants.

I was wearing it a few weeks ago while walking with my girlfriend. I noticed a woman walking towards us wearing a T Shirt that said something along the lines of "I'm here when I could be home having cuddles with my cat!" She spotted my hoodie and I spotted her T Shirt and we exchanged a couple of glances. When she passed she made a hissing noise 😸 This completely confused my girlfriend who had no idea that she was just behaving like a cat 😸

They're not made for or by the social security department, they first started by a very entrepreneurial little man in Bali selling cheap T-shirts and singlets to Aussies on holiday. It instantly appealed to our sense of humour and they went viral after that. It's cheaper for me to fly to Bali for a holiday than it is to go to Sydney.

On the dole? Living the dream! :D

An upset American businessman had a rant at me one day, I was only 16 at the time. He said "In America the Great American Dream is to earn enough money to have a bigger house that all your neighbours with an in ground heated pool and two cars in the driveway and still have enough money to send all your kids to a good college. As far as I can tell the Great Australian Dream is to not have to work.". I smiled and said Yes.

Ah, I see! Its quite amusing but also kinda cool that it gets under the skin of people like the American guy! Unless you are working at something you are passionate about, I think the idea that you work the vast majority of your life to make other people rich is a horrible way to spend your only existence on earth.

We don't live to work, we work to live. Most of us don't work our whole lives, some just play around until they're in their late 30s before getting serious about life, it's a fun country to live in. Others will take a hiatus in the middle of their lives, when the kids are old enough to travel they'll take 2 or 3 years out and take the kids on a lap of the nation. That's far more educational than anything taught in schools.

A lot of Aussies will also retire early, finishing work while they're still young enough to travel and have fun. That's a trap though, trust me here. If you want to see the world do it while you're young enough to really enjoy it, old age slows you up quite a lot.

And our school leavers all start with the same attitude too. Finish high school, do a trip to Bali then come back home and bum around for a year. After 6 months without working you're classed as long term unemployed and the government will pay all your tuition fees at University so that you can make yourself more employable.

The Westminster System works really well here, we have a rather Irish attitude towards law, order and governance, it's a bit like trying to herd cats, so they dangle the social carrot to keep us in line. :)

I used to buy character t-shirts. It was one of my hobbies pretty much.

There is a school of rock t-shirts, and 2 Barbie’s and more. For certainly I would have liked to have seen an Asian barbie as well. There is a green mental health t-shirt as well. There is more and many the pictures can be enlarged as well. I still try and get new t-shirts as well for summer usually. I need to think about what other ones I will to buy.

Wow! You have some great T Shirts @Rachie! I like the Super Mario/Nintendo ones! They always have a classic cute/nerdy chic look :-)

My comfortable breathable walking T shirts. No designs on them, but they keep me cool in the summer when I go on walks.
