Who plays drums or loves to watch drumming rudiments

When it comes to playing drums my son, Reimiel, is self-taught. He learned the basics of drumming by watching free lessons on YouTube. He went through different skill levels of drumming patterns and rudiments.

This drum cover of Final Countdown by Europe is one of his advanced rudiments.

Always nonplussed that some people don't know Phil Collins (Genesis)is a drummer I like his skill in the song in the air tonight

That’s awesome!! He’s very talented. That’s a difficult song and he has really mastered it!
I’m a drummer as well :)

I might upload a video at some point but I’m pretty self-conscious

My cousin is a very proficient drummer and singer, number of videos on U tube, also face book has a soft spot for people like , your son" Eddie Zeeman" recommend your son try to contact.

Really? I myself didn't know that Phil Collins is a drummer. Reimiel also likes his songs. Actually, we are arranging to film a music video of Phil Collins' "You'll Be in My Heart" and Reimiel will do both drumming and singing. That is after this upcoming video that we will be uploading this week.

Thank you and we are glad you liked it. It means so much coming from a drummer like you. This will surely inspire Reimiel.

OMG! Reimiel and I saw Eddie's channel and we become instant fans. He is a Pro at drumming and we also saw his music video where he is the lead vocalist. Awesome!

I thought he would like him

Believe it or not he does both voice and drumming concurrently, probably the only drummer on the planet that can do both. Your son should really enjoy him. If he could make a connection Eddie is very approach he has a cd called 'guilty pleasures', which really show cases drumming and singing. I think you son would really enjoy this. maybe inspire him.

Very brave to play drums! My brother played and I tried. Good job! As to drummers I like to listen to? Neil Peart's with his Massive Drum set, pic below! I love his stuff. And John Bonham.

Like Karen Carpenter(Carpenters)probably slightly less reluctant, now he's paying for the years of it

Whoa! I wonder if he can hit all of those in one musical piece. That is truly a massive setup!

Good choices for Drummers to emulate. If you want to see a massive drum set check out Carl Palmer's set. It rotates.
What type of music are you into, I like Progressive rock.

Drums are my second instrument, after keyboards. Been playing for almost 30 years. Matter of fact, I just aquired a new (used) kit today...

I'm so used to playing acoustic drums over the past 30 years, that I can't stand playing electronic drums at all. They don't feel the same (not even the mesh heads feel like acoustics; too spongy), they don't sound nearly as good, and you can't really add any pads to expand the kit, other than maybe an extra tom and cymbal. They're good for adding additional sounds to an acoustic kit (samples and whatnot), but that's about it.

That is so true. My son got his electronic drum kit as a reward for participating in a recital concert (
). If he advances then maybe we can consider getting him acoustics.
