Why do we not have a book section?

Unless I'm somehow missing it, that is. We have sections for movies, music, television, and computers, but not books. Why is that?

I am reading Jesse Ventura's Marijuana Manifesto which gives some very thorough background on political economics and how business is contained and controlled by big pharama. It also gives some background on the war against drugs fiasco which is really disguised as let's keep prisons full to keep courthouses and prisons fully funded.

I think we had a book section originally but someone borrowed it and never returned it.

;)

I am reading the Harry Potter series again, also Origins by Dan Brown and The Magicians series by Lev Grossman.

@tree linked to many threads to talk about books in general, but I think each book worth discussing needs a thread of its own. I propose we do one of these two:

1) Just start book-related threads in the "Movies, Music, and Television" forum. If the forum moderators agree, they can add "Books" to the forum title.

2) Add a Books forum.

I figured the practical thing to do would be to post there, but I figured there might be some unspoken rule against it. And I think we all know how well most of us do with unspoken rules...

We do need a book section here. For now I am reading The Call Of The Wild. I will probably finish this in the next day or two and then will start reading White Fang.
