I am really nervous but also excited and I feel good about the position I am applying for.

It's for housekeeping at a local hotel!

I am really good at cleaning and I enjoy repetitive tasks, same style rooms to clean each day, rooms to be cleaned a specific way each time.
I'll get training and instructions.

Also the company has policies for hiring people with disabilities and even though I don't have a diagnosis yet I like the fact that they are mindful and supportive.

Heading out soon!

I thought I'd post this now so that when it gets closer to time I can see the replies from you all here and that will give me the extra push and a smile on my face before I go in for the interview.

I'm glad you found something you can do. Hopefully it goes well for you and you end up getting the job~

Best of luck to you~

Exciting. I love repetitive jobs. Like cashier. It's amazing how happy those on the spectrum can be doing this. Best of luck. We understand you need to be repetitive, and we totally support you.

Good luck! I appreciate the work that housekeeping does and when traveling I leave them a minimum $5 to $10 tip for each day of my stay.

Thank you everyone for the comments! The interview went pretty well I think! The hardest part was getting out of the car to go in but after I made it over that hurdle I did just fine. I will know if they decide to hire me around the middle of next week. If I don’t get it it’s not the end of the world, I have a few other job interviews (*I applied different places on indeed!*) for jobs I think I would be happy and thrive at. I really appreciate everyone’s kindness and support here it made all the difference in the world!
