Work

Does work leave ayone else out there utterly and completely drained? I get home and I want nothing to do with anyone else. All I want to do is relax and decompress. I can only take so much customer service before I feel like I could snap.

I'm usually exhausted after work since my work is really physicially demanding. When I get home I like to prepare for work the next day. My social life isn't very active because work is tiring.

I thought it was just my age catching up to me. Yes, I feel drained by the time I get home. I maintain university dorms, so it's like dealing with spoiled adolescent adults that have no sense of responsibility, but feel they can break whatever they like because mommy and daddy will pay for it. Here endeth the rant.
Nah, Sportster. It isn't your age at all. Customer service is simply maddening and that's all of the jobs out there anymore. I wish there were still backline jobs like being a PC assembler and tester. I could do that fairly easily.

I once gave some passing thoughts to building PCs on my own for profit. Sadly gave up the idea given products liability and completed operations issues. No way to really regulate those with viruses and malware issues from true hardware problems. Tragic, given the machines I have built, I would stack up against any major computer manufacturer.

Still, I'd have been happy with such work otherwise.
