Xbox Live/Xbox website problems

Topic.

2 hours ago I bought YouTuber's Life: OMG Edition digitally from Xbox.com and installed it on the Xbox at my Parents.

Anyway after installing the relatively small 1.9 Gig game, I started playing it and for sone reason the controls don't seem to work very well.

Anyway I Googled how to get a refund on the game as I only just paid £23.99 for it today and found how to do it, but the refund section of Microsoft.com doesn't seem to work.

Can anyone help? As mentioned I have Googled how to get a refund.

You might have to look for a phone number which to contact Microsoft's call center.

I once did, but like most "UK" call centres, it's staffed by people who don't understand my strong Yorkshire accent.

Therefore they were about as much help as lumpy custard.

I sorted it last night on the PC at home (damn you old version of the Chrome browser!), it said it would take 72 hours as of about 9.30 PM last night to process the refund claim.

I got an email from MS yesterday, under the "terms and conditions" I was NOT entitled to a refund! I was literally like, WTH?! The game is unplayable due to major problems, and they're charging £24 for it?!

Caveat emptor. XBox digital downloads are non-refundable with Microsoft unless otherwise stated.

Here's a synopsis of such policies and considerations to their various terms and conditions with some of the major game vendors for future reference:
