The desert in winter is so pretty. In the summer it's all brown and bare. But in winter, it's like God took his paintbrush out. That's one thing I miss about the desert. The winter wildflowers.

The Statue of Liberty and Liberty Island, as seen from my airplane window two weeks ago (on Tuesday the 11th).

I like yours better. The other looks like it might have been AI-generated!
Mine was taken with a lousy phone camera, by an unprofessional photographer, from a bad angle, from a vehicle moving quickly, during the winter.

Despite living in New York for close to four decades, I've yet to visit the Statue.

χωριό is the Greek word for “village”. These photos are of a saint’s day festival in a small village in northern Greece, in the hills outside Drama.

Belenheim Palace, Woodstock, Oxfordshire, England. The land was gifted by the Crown to the Churchill family three hundred years ago, and much of the construction cost was paid for by Parliament. The seat of the Dukes of Marlborough, it was famously the birthplace of Winston Churchill.
