Halloween 2023/2024

Adults are allowed to trick and treat? I thought it was only kid thing to do.
In my area at least while trick or treating is primarily for kids we don't turn away anyone. In fact in the lead up to Halloween you see lots of posts basically saying "It doesn't matter who it is, how old they are, or if they don't have a costume, if they show up at Halloween you give them candy". Now it really is directed at the older children ie High School age who some would think shouldn't be but hey, better they go out looking for candy on Halloween than getting into trouble. Below is something my friend posted.

It looks like some of you had some real fun. I used to have a thing at Halloween for watching Halloween Mike Myers movies at Halloween. That Mike Myers was something else. I didn't do anything this year and likely won't now. I have had my chill factor for this year I think. I saw this thread a while ago and couldn't find it for ages. My need for sensory seeking can be a bit strange sometimes. Like my favourite rides at the fair are the Bumper cars and the Ghost train and I am very sensory sensitive. I went on Derren Brown Ghost train ride at a family day once. The most scariest thing ever at Thorpe Park. I don't know if it is still going.

I started an off shoot thread on Halloween in the religion section.

A different time everyone. This was me on a Ghost train in 2020 June at Southend fair in Essex. They are my thing at all fairs and bumper cars as I wrote above.
I have put it unlisted
