What was the last movie you watched?

Ghost - Rite Here Rite Now (2024)

A must-see concert film for any Ghost fan. Best played loud.

"Escape From Germany" (2024)

Thoughtful and true story of American Mormon Missionaries trying to get out of Nazi Germany just days before the invasion of Poland and beginning of World War Two. Elder Norman Seibold successfully got out all 21 American missionaries out before the border was closed.

"Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes" (2024) Disney+

Yet another spin on the original story. Leaves off in the distant future, with still room for humanity to destroy the entire planet or figure out how to make peace with the Apes.

"Sully," and the flying scenes were ridiculous. They didn't even follow the voice recordings that were key to the safe water landing on the Hudson. No prizes for guessing why I don't watch even one movie a year. I remember being loaned some family's favourite movie, in a rural area, and the animations of Bulls had udders.

I watched the first four episodes of a new Netflix series called "Adolescence". That's all the episodes they've filmed so far. It is very intense, about a 13-year-old boy arrested for murdering a 13-year-old female classmate. As the story evolves, it becomes clear that social media and cyber bullying are at play.
