Which ones are you finding the least objectionable?

Broccoli, fresh spinach, fresh tomatoes, fresh celery.
I have a lot more energy and alertness in sobriety than what I have had in decades of drinking.

Alcohol is literally poison. It sounds like your body is healing from being poisoned for so long. My grandfather talked to me about his journey away from tobacco, he was a chain smoker of expensive cigars (on a mechanic's salary, so he was spending a LOT on smokes, even by 70s standards). Scary, but he lived to be 88.

He said watching his grandson (me) graduate from high school was worth it, because his doctor told him to quit or he wouldn't live to see me enter kindergarten. The future is great without the wall of addiction. Just find a way to ditch your family once and for all.
A good friend of mine offered to help me clear my lawn of weeds in exchange for a Thai dinner. I will take him up on his offer. His mother in law’s health is improving after her kidney transplant.

Thai food is way too spicy for me. YMMV as always. Enjoy your dinner.
I have been losing weight but I still have my parents constantly shaming me because I still have some weight left to lose. They claim they do it because they love me and they don’t want me to die. Drama whores, they are.

But when you are confident, that's when they attack you. The more they can pull you down is their way of controlling you. Like so what, weight loss is a slow process, it's also healthier to lose it slowly. Just say, when you shame me, it doesn't work because l truly don't care.

Dramatic, yeah. My dad is always commenting on my weight. It’s indirectly his fault for being an a-hole to me.

I never mentioned weight around my daughter. She didn't grow up with body shame.
I feel like taking a nice nap when I get home from work today, then diving back into High on Life on the Series X.
Hump day. Just two more shifts after today, then two days of paradise will come upon me. I plan on going to the farmer's market on Saturday and gaming all day Sunday.
I feel like Xbox gaming for several hours when I get home from work today.

Sounds like fun :-) If you have a free evening why not? Fill up your boots I say! :-) It's been a long time since I have had enough focus to play through any video game, so I kinda wish I could do the same!
I feel like going out, buying an enchilada and a virgin margarita.

I'd say go for it. That sounds amazing right now.

Sounds good. I had a cheesy double beef burrito smothered in cheese. Should have washed it down with a margarita still in my fridge. But she's no virgin.

When I had sunburn, as a child, my mother would put wet washcloths on me that
    were soaked in Lipton tea.
I need a pill to make me happy, a pill to make me sleep, a pill to make me let go of my past, a wonder drug. Or maybe I just need a joint.
12 years ago, my therapist considered me to be a “vulnerable adult” because I was going through life without having any personal boundaries of my own. I was intentionally raised to be that way. Damn it.
Anybody want to grab Indian food with me tonight? I love their shrimp korma and their samosas.

I’ve never had shrimp korma before. That’s new to me.

I am working on emotional regulation. I am getting better at being less reactive. And faster at breaking down my triggers. Do you see changes in yourself when you are triggered?
Yay! All the time I spend today standing in direct sunlight while waiting for busses that never came has given me a lobster face! It hurts! I want to use strong language in this post to express my frustration!

There must be a place for feedback on service.
I suppose the responsiveness to informative input is low, though.
I am starting to seriously hate how understaffed my local public transit system is, as it leads to an increase in incredibly late bus runs and bus runs that end up not happening at all. It is highly inefficient and it screws up my daily living big time.

I very much dislike buses for so many reasons. I've experienced very similar issues. It never seemed to make any difference how early I left the house the unreliable buses often made me late for work. I used to walk home as it was quicker and slightly less "peopley" :-)
I am tempted to go to McDonald's for lunch after work today. Not healthy at all, but I do love McNuggets and I do love their salty fries.

I ended up getting sweet chili chicken at a Thai place instead.

Do you have a small family run independent burger joint near you? Yreka has one, and the woman who owns it does quite well for herself despite her over the top political opinions posted everywhere, albeit in line with the area. It's as if Roseanne Barr took her acting money and opened up a greasy spoon in some out of the way town.

Her food is actual real food, not compressed chemicals like McD's "food", so she's always busy. The new fast food minimum wage in California doesn't apply to her. She has two employees and they're related to her. Everybody in town goes there because her food is so good. Find a place like that and you won't have to worry about pickling yourself.
