100Meg Download Speeds

teeside office and ge breakfloor i usually get between 9 and 11ms ping

You get exactly the same range as me XD

Great News! But....

Here in the Netherlands i allready have a new connection VDSL2 wich is up at 50mbit ;-), i know that VDSL2 can reach up to 100mbit as i have been doing some line testing...and came up with 72mbit

I think that my provider is not so happy with me by doing these line tests....but i don't really care lolz.

holy **** kurgen, that is a fast connection, but the phone cables in the uk just wont support those kinds of speeds

You can already get virgin media 50meg cable and they are launching 100meg later this year..trials for 200meg start this year as well.

i know you can get good speeds on cable, but that isn't over phone lines

I'm pretty close. I have 80/down and 30/up. I can get 250/down but I'm not paying $200/month.

I believe things would have changed since the last time this thread was even created. Now I myself even have fibre optic and the UK lines now support them. So far, I'm only limited to 40/down and 2/up since I cannot get the uncapped one in my area. Gaming is pretty good, heavy gaming is no problem. Pings hasn't been too bad either, the smallest i've had was 1ms on a very good day but an average of 10ms.
