A Change in Climate

You're correct about the south east, on the border between New South Wales and Victoria. The Great Dividing Range runs all the way up the east coast from Melbourne to Cape York but only one section is high enough to get snow.

Other than that, Australia is the flattest continent on Earth.
So I bet there's a ski resort on Mount Kosciusko.

Wouldn't wanna get lost in the Western Plateau 😮

Another saying we have in my family is, always be dressed for an emergency 😬😅😆
Imagine there's a fire, or earthquake, and you have to leave the house, immediately!
I'd rather have a t-shirt and shorts on 😂

I always sleep in pajamas in hotels, just in case I have to suddenly evacuate. I'd rather be flapping around in PJs than a nightgown.

Like outdated said, that's not an issue. I couldn't care less who sees me naked. My only concern would not be shocking/offending someone. I have no near neighbors, and I'm sure emergency workers have seen naked people.

Fun fact, sign language for Australia literally means "pick up and throw away" - referring to Australia being a dumping ground for prisoners!

England used that as a form of social and ethnic cleansing. Round up all the poor people and put them somewhere where we don't have to look at them, as well as anyone Irish. But guess who's laughing now. :D

Two cans of cider isn't enough to make a mess of anyone, but I drink rarely these days so that's enough for me.

I thought I'd try out about the only Aussie slang I know. It worked because you knew what I was talking about.

We should have kept you guys for our sports teams 😞

Know why England started sending the undesireables to Austrailia?
Because they lost the American Revolutionary War

Some things must still be the same in some ways. Quite a few of our best musicians were born in the UK but grew up here. The Bee Gees. Half of AC/DC. Our legendary Jimmy Barnes.

Here's a very young Angus Young, and Bon Scott on lead bagpipes. Melbourne, 1978.
