You can definitely say that the groundwork for WW2 was laid in 1919 with the Treaty of Versailles. And there were several incidents between 1935-1939 that could have provoked the official war had Britain and/or France been willing to go to war at those points. Interesting.

Very true-Treaty of Versailles & incidents between 1935-1939. Japan's invasion of China was a big event. But there were quite a few as you noted. With both Britain & France backing down from taking action.

Thats true too, didn't even think of it but the Pacific theater was well on its way to amping up a full-scale war as well.

During the development of XCOM Enemy Unknown the first XCOM, XCOM UFO Defense, was played at least once a week, with new employees forbidden to work on EU until they had beaten UFO Defense.

Thank you fast facts from lore.

Usually I always forget about the Pacific! Sorry Vets...its only lately that I've been learning more about it. I like what you said about events from 1935-39. That's probably the most accurate answer.

A 5'10" 180-190lb cornerback often has to cover a 6'1" or taller 200-225lb Wide Receiver in American Football.

... Which really tests the agility of the cornerback.

Speaking of which, in most years, you only get to watch NFC teams like the 49ers, Falcons, Saints or the Lions twice on CBS, so do the Steelers, Colts or Dolphins on Fox. This year, the final home game of the 49ers in Candlestick Park will be aired on ESPN on Monday Night Football (December 23), so there will be just one CBS game against the Colts, on September 22. The Lions get to host the Ravens on December 16 (also another ESPN Monday Night game), and this may be something to feel excited about with the Lions improving this year, so the game on Bengals on October 20 is the only CBS game.

Meanwhile, the Lions travel to Pittsburgh to play on November 17, the only game on the Steelers' schedule aired by Fox.

Golden (or amber) raspberries have a finer flavor than yellow ones because they hail from albino-like black raspberry stock rather than red.
