IP ban be when they ban you by putting in your IP address on the banned list. You can't see the forum even if you are logged out. But username ban just keeps you from viewing the board when you are logged in but that doesn't stop you from creating a new account.That goes for IPs too because they can use a proxy IP to see the board. Weird how the mod banned you.
 
for a second there I was tempted to start a poll asking people here if they thought I would be banned again if I talked to Alex.


Hey; why don't we all just rejoin and send PMs to people talking about normal stuff they're interested in, their lives, their problems, etc. and make friends with them and then invite them all over here? That way all the bannings will be good for us. I also hope I2 swells our number.
 
It's terrible that they give you a choice between just 2 things... not get treatment for your depression, or get hospitalized involuntarily. Luckily, the state of Texas has humane mental hospitals.


Any society will have its suicides and homicides. I think the best way to deal with that is not putting anyone down... you hear me? Not putting the murderer or anyone else down.The best way to do it is having support groups for people who feel homicidal, etc. with people telling them how to cope with it.


And for the record, for many years now I have hated informers. Or maybe just hated what they did. I used to love America's Most Wanted, when I was 11. I loved how they were cleaning the streets of people who could hurt me. I also found it exciting. But then I started getting a criminal identification, realizing people who act and call themselves pure and perfect are often the opposite. So I started to dislike society. I started to dislike punishment. People treated me like I was bad when I wasn't, and what's how and why I developed a criminal identification. I didn't realize that the things BOTH SIDES were doing were wrong. And that they needed, not hatred, but help, as in love and respect. But it's so hard to love and respect and thus help someone that's treating you like whale **** at the bottom of the ocean. God help us; we need some love and respect ourselves before we can help others.
 
I'm pretty sure Alex owns his server. He talks about fixing it all the time. And his video shows a server that looks like he built it himself, as someone else said.

They just change the passwords of the people they want to ban now, I think. I think it's so that we can't edit our signatures to say why they were banned.
 
Celtic Frost calls it a silent ban. It happened when I posted under my husband's account. I am still unsure what to think, glitch or the mods. I think I am done for now and might register again in the future hoping it be all blown over by then. Alex didn't bother to reset my password. I didn't ask him to. He offered to reset for me when I asked if he can fix it. If I were truely banned, I would have gotten the words I am after logging in.
 
I cannot login my account so no. I was getting a blank screen and then logging as likedcalico and then logging out made me see the forum again. I can't make posts or view the adult board or members only or send PMs. I'm surprised my email address there still worked for that account.

I can make posts again if I register for another account but I bet it will happen again like it did to my SG account and my husband's.

Do you know how much of what goes on on WP Alex actually knows about?


I believe the newest mod picks the next mod. Something somewhere went seriously wrong... someone untrustworthy must have been picked by someone trustworthy at some point.


EDIT: DW A Mom is a mod, has been for months now. What do you think about that?
 
I like DW a Mom but I don't know what she is like. She is a hidden mod. There are lot of hidden mods.

A hidden mod is where someone is a mod and no one knows you are because you don't have the label in your profile and you aren't listed as a mod in the wrongplanet.net board. I knew she was a mod because her name is in green.


tinky is a mod too and got her moderator label.


I have a feeling Alex is unaware what his mods do and when we tell him, he won't listen. He says he will investgate but the mods can just lie to him and he can believe them. I think if enough people tell him about how bad some of them are, he might finally listen and believe us.


I think Alex picks his mods but I am not sure how that works. I know becoming a mod is something random. It gets offered to you based on your behavior on the forum. But unfortunetely Alex has made some bad choices. I mean sure someone can come off as nice and sweet and sensitive but you have no idea they can abuse their power. I used to think sinsboldly was okay until she became a mod and I started hearing bad stories about her but yet I didn't have any problems with her until I said one thing to her and she sent me the last unfair warning.

hi, Alex. I'm Ana54. I was not the perfect member, but my bf and my mother literally never posted for months and suddenly they were banned. (I was banned as well. Sinsboldly said it was because I didn't answer two PMs, one from Quatermass saying "FINAL WARNING" and one from Sins called "MODERATOR WARNING". I had also just made a friend and I really, REALLY wanted to get to know him, but IO don't remember his name so I feel like I lost a friend now. Anyway, my mom only posted once, over a year and a half ago, and it was a benign topic. My bf posted only benign things as well, and hadn't logged in for MONTHS until I told him I was banned and he checked and he was banned too. He had been able to log in months ago, but suddenly, in our absence, the three of us were banned. My mother is Mysteria. I believe you can find out who my bf is. I will not say his name here out of respect to his wish for privacy. I assure you that they are not my sockpuppets. MADDuck and Adverb can tell you that they met my mom (or in MADDuck's case, talked to her on the phone). Those two and the following others can attest to the fact that my bf is the real deal: Poopylungstuffing, Flipmode, Valueman, WaxDeejay, Stephaniecatherine, aguales. Others too that I forget. Thank you so much in advance for looking into this. My mom and my bf literally did nothing to deserve a banning.

Maybe this can be the thread where we post more messages to Alex if he disabled the function that allows people to write on his wall.
 
I should have listened to Kalister1. Here I was defending Sins to him, giving examples of how she wasn't that bad, but he hadn't told me properly why he disliked her... he started trolling her... all these people saw very early that she did toxic things but I only learned when she started doing it to me, many months later.

Sins seemed to take likes to me until she decided to throw me out by sending me her final warning. An unfair one.
