Are Reboots/Remakes Ever Good?

I thought the Hellraiser reboot in 2022 was great. It got somewhat mixed reviews though. On the other hand, I couldn't even get through the original.
 
I agree with most listed in here already, so I will add...

Alexandre Aja's remake of The Hills Have Eyes (uncut version). That's a beast of a horror film.
