Are you on the spectrum and in a relationship with someone on the spectrum?

I have a very close friendship with someone on the spectrum that has the potential to be a relationship. But we haven't asked eachother out even though we let eachother know we like eachother. Thing is I'm in love with him, like the real deal but nothing has been done about it this past 5 years. grr.
We aren't a complete match personailty wise though, he's more severe than I and any social life he's had he has through knowing my friends. He's also quiet and doesn't talk much but I could talk for england (well with certain people anyway). I've noticed even though he doesn't like other people touching him he can be quite affectionate with me and he sometimes looks right into my eyes. For some reason with him I crave being looked at and touched and with other people that's not the case.

(I hope he doesn't find this site and reads this *crosses fingers*)

Well, Chris loved me 4 years ago and I only realised I love him last year. Talk about a slow reaction, or whatever. lol :(

Poor guy. Awkward time, eh? It'd hurt to be either of you in a situation like that (although I can sympathize with him more. I've been in the same situation). But at least it turned out good in the end. Happy for you guys.

That sounds exactly like how I behaved with my ex. And how I behave in general (socially speaking, I mean.)

Monkey you should seriously say something to him. D:!!!

I think something might be happening with me and a guy on the spectrum from school but idk. I also don't want to give off the impression I'm going around the SEN pupil list or w.e lmao.

I'm in a relationship and she is also on the spectrum and so far, it's been going strong for the both of us. :D
So yea, but if I had a child, it would probably be a different matter imo.

Bit too early to be thinking about that, hmm?
I had to talk about parenting in PSHE today with 3 other people. 2 of which happened to be ex-boyfriends.
Was awkward. XD. Mind you one just laughed at everything and the other said **** all(he hates me and won't look me in the face never mind talk) so yeah :P.

Ah.. don't worry, I doubt it would ever happen, we see how far it takes for me and her... We did have that dream for us to become family... (okay I think I'm thinking abit far ahead now. -_- )

Family for me=eww.
Definitely don't want a family. The idea of a long-term relationship has become a bit more appealing though P:.
