ASD and the voice

No and it delayed my diagnosis for sure. I have no issues with prosody unless I am anxious or tired. However that does show that my voice tends to go monotone if I don't have the energy to keep it up. So when home while not monotone I do talk in a way that sounds more "autistic" just to not waste energy on masking. More echolalia and 1-2 word responses along. My voice changes so much due to masking that within a day I have gotten told that my voice is monotone, singsong, high, not very high, good for asmr, and childish. So I am not sure I could even tell you. I am not sure I know.

It seems that my singing voice is quite different from my speaking voice. It surprised a musical director when i was much younger.
