Aspies and Dry People

I've heard the term too, but, never knew if I understood what it means.
Dry sense of humor for example.
So sarcastically I could ask, what is a wet personality?

In comparison to one of my college instructors, a classmate once described another one of our instructors as being "dry". This other instructor was nice but didn't have much of a delivery for his jokes which were lame anyway. The first instructor was fast talking, funny and very expressive. So ever since then I thought of the first instructor as being "wet".

So should I tell my new students, "Don't worry, I'm wet"?
