Personally, Mark Twain-like humor, slapstick, and dry humor - esp. bad puns! This is predominantly where I am coming from.
I joke mainly because I enjoy the dopamine hit through laughing.
If someone else enjoys it, it is a nice bonus.
Also, social laughing can be a bonding mechanism with the right people.

Dark humor and sarcasm are my default mask for dealing with Neurotypicals.I use a lot of dark humor, which is making jokes about a bad situation in order to cope.
"Gallows Humour."I use a lot of dark humor, which is making jokes about a bad situation in order to cope.
I’m good at coming up with quick and witty comments. I’m just a natural at comedy.I find it hard to understand quick fire humour with distracting laughter tracks due to processing delays. A slow dry comedy like The Office UK I got all the jokes. (Gold star )
