"Autistic Kids Have Poorer Sleep Quality Than Their Peers Into Teens"

When I was a child I suffered horribly from nightmares and even night terrors, I would often also rock my head on my pillow or even bang it lightly against my pillow, also I usually woke at 6 am and start reading or making breakfast. Going to bed was for many years an frightening experience for me. According to my mother as an infant I hardly ever slept and was often awake at 3 in the morning often talking to myself or imitating the local Morepork (Owl) much to their chagrin.
