Autistic songs?

I suppose every song, fictional character and celebrity is autistic now in some way. And that's why NTs say that aggravating line, "Aren't we all just a little autistic?"

I’ve been watching a lot of youtube videos lately, mostly music reaction videos, and one that keeps popping up in searches is a very talented Aussie musician who describes himself as having a personality disorder.

Tim Minchin. He may not be autistic but there certainly seems to be a lot of overlap. I noticed it when listening to his song Rock And Roll Nerd, which he wrote about himself. I found I was able to relate to a lot of his descriptions, and he also hates wearing shoes.

Language warning, he is Australian.

If you want to see what serious talent is watch this one, he’s having a go at Sony because they wouldn’t sign him up, and he has a dig at the singer from Pearl Jam while he’s at it.

These songs are from back in the early 80s when none of us knew anything about autism, yet the songs seem fairly relevant.

How much more of an anthem can you get than this describes my journey through life. love her voice. Incredible singer. Great album lots of other great songs some very relevant. first time I heard this song at a party 6 years ago I was stunned, immediately bought the CD to hear more songs What a voice lots of great songs why is she not a major singer. last time I heard a voice like this was Janice Joplin conveys so much emotion.
