Avoiding Lab-Grown Franken-meat

Watched a U-tube video between Neil De Grasse debate a vegetarian using the scientific method. facts and logic
quite interesting. made me think. I'm not vegetarian but did live on a farm. And am sympathetic to the lifestyle. my wife's father was a Butcher, and we have no plans to get divorced over ethical differences. Much like covid I did not pick sides on these debates. I got a vaccine. Because it was in my best interest even though I had the strongest
circumstances not too Do not let other's opinion, overrule your personal common sense.

Cultured meat: Which chemicals were used in its growth? What are HELA cells? Which role do they play? Why is it that it grows faster than natural cells? Which body cells have the ability to grow indefinitely? Are they healthy?

How much glucose is fed into the batch, to grow the meat? Without an endocrine system, how much glucose remains in the tissue? What about vitamin and mineral deficiencies?
The so-called "HELA" or "He-La" cells are an immortalized cancer cell line from the cervix of Henrietta Lacks, and are used for cancer research. These are not used in cultured meat, obviously. HeLa - Wikipedia

Don't see how nutrition matters when the alternative is just grabbing animals and ending their lives. If lab-grown is what it takes to help the species move on from meat like a nicotine sticker then so be it. A bit less of the take take take for our own sake will do the world good. There's no love in the current ideals.

I believe, very strongly, that the hunter/gatherer diet is the healthiest for our species. If one had to work outside most of the day and had no access to commercial agriculture and modern shipping and preservation, meat, fruit/seeds, roots, and herbs would be the most likely foods available. Veganism would be a famine diet, and one would crave longingly for the taste of meat. Especially the fatty kind.

In those cultures, you're either the hunter or the berry picker.

Cut up a whole chicken, and also cleaned the carcass, getting all the extra meat off. Packaged it all, including the bones and fat for broth.

Took about twenty minutes, all in all. I really enjoy butchering meat.

It will be interesting to see how this plays out. Having livestock as buds does lend itself to questioning the eating of animals. Can't say I am 100% at ease with it, although I'm definitely more of a carnivore than many. Guilt-free meat eating?
Video below for humor regarding this issue.........
