This is silly but I love Kinder Suprise eggs. Not for the chocolate but because the toys can be really cool and innovate for being crammed into a x1.5"capsule.

Lately, I have really been struggling with anxiety and fear/ frustration over political antics. While no toy can fix that, I was given two eggs today and it is amazing how much that kind gesture lifted my mood.

Have you opened either of them yet?

I often keep surprises for quite a while,
so that I have something to look forward to.

No! I haven't opened them. I don't know when I will.
Dang, I was trying to upload a photo of one of my favorite capsule toys but my internet it too slow.

I have a few Kinder prizes as well. Not long ago I bought a giant Kinder Egg with a plastic fairy inside. Not long before that I bought an egg with a plastic man wearing sort of t-rex skeleton armor.

I just love the fact that we can legally purchase Kinder Surprise eggs in Canada. In the USA they're banned because they think kids will somehow swallow the egg with the capsule and the toy still inside it. Although they kind of worked around that with the Kinder Joy Eggs.
