Beer

Duvel.jpg

I wish Duvel wasn't so expensive. It's one of the best beers out there. I drank it for the first time last year after wanting to try it out for years . . . I just kept forgetting to.

After reading reviews for it on Beer Advocate and noticing that the "brothers" on there both gave it an A+ "World Class" rating I thought I'd give it a try. Beer testers tend to be anal as hell and it's very uncommon to see a beer receive a rating that's higher than B- (hell, even anything higher than C+ or C- is rather rare) so I was rather surprised and wanted to try it out myself. I didn't regret trying it out; it's one of my favorite beers now.

If I was a wealthy I'd have two fridges: One for Duvel; one for food.

lol, hold on:

You live in Ireland, and the only beer you try is horrible American beer? ;)

Northern Ireland isn't in Ireland (the country, that is), kasmanaft. It's a part of the UK. ;)

You should know this! Actually naw - I suspect that at least half of the people here who aren't from the UK or Ireland didn't know that Northern Ireland is one of the four countries in the UK.

Some of the beer I like include...

+ Hoegaarden;
+ James Squire Amber Ale;
+ James Squire Porter;
+ Young's Double Chocolate Stout.

I also think Hoegaarden is a great beer. Belgium produces fine beers.

Then I'm sure, Aillas, you hadn't heard of Tiger Beer and Anchor Beer either. Add them with Chang, all three brands of beers are popular in Singapore and the Southeast Asian area.

I've heard of Tiger beer. In fact, I've nearly bought it various times in the past. It has a very cool-looking logo:

Haha, I actually knew that Ireland was separate, but assumed N.Ireland was also separate on another level. Oops.
So I'll rephrase then:

You live in Europe, and the only beer you try is ****** American beer?
Tsk tsk tsk.
:P

And ps: Aillas...yes, Belgian beers I think are one of (if not the) best of the beers.
