Being sick while autistic

When I was child I had times where echo in my ears, later on discovered fluid on middle ear and slight loss of hearing.
Maybe get hearing test just to be sure.
whenever I'm sick it affects my ears now, echo even if it's not ear infection, underlying health issue. Like COVID wrecked havoc

after serious ear infection about 18 months ago, I had to get histamine to get my hearing back. When hearing returned i felt few bubbles coming up in my ear, then suddenly TV was so loud it was awful, then back to being half deaf. I wonder if specialist could kind of fix it since did sound louder, briefly.
Are Ear Infections More Common in Autistic Children?

"have a night where I am nauseated and uncontrollably shaking and I can't regulate my temperature..."

I felt the same and I'm still sick but for me it was very exhausting physically and a flu. It started out very slowly and I thought it would get better soon but it got worse after the entire night spent in fever, sweats and chills.

I got so exhausted after that day and I didn't get so much rest. I started coughing too, and got diarrhea. I got muscles pulled, probably due to weaknesses and nutrients lost but I also just switched my hormone pills to stronger estrogens so the testosterone isn't doing so much to pump my muscles anymore.

I got a music sensitivity and I started listening to slow and dim volume songs. My friend called me and I was coughing and my voice sounding bad, she said "I didn't think you were doing so bad" lol. I didn't realize I was doing so bad, I have had covid in 2019 and I thought I was going to die and I went to work as well, they didn't let me home and when I had another illness doc didn't write a letter, I guess unless you request but I felt terrible and working on 2 hrs or none of sleep due to coughing throughout the night.

When I have burn out or I've absorbed enough pain for weeks my threshold is lowered, have had times where I'd lay still and absorb pain.
My last ear infection was severe though, so saw and eardrops did not work, actually made it worse. Was not echo but really saw, had to get through night to see doctor, awful.
UTI isn't saw it's burning, uncomfortable irritant makes urgent matter for double dose Citra soda. Catheter installed is so uncomfortable, sensation keeps in conscious.
I never survived PM's without paracetamol, would never get through day without.

No. Celiac's can increase risk of cataracts though.
Mine were caused by prescribed long term use of cortisone eye drops for chronic dry eye inflammation.
Well that's good to know because I have used a lot of eye drops for allergies for red eyes.

Ok, my aunt has struggled with IBS for years, she's best on carnivore diet, also has dry eyes. So I'm just checking.
Her one nephew is also on spectrum, he's a successful accountant. So may be a connection.

Im realising now how lifestyle affects our old age health. Some things are just age such loss bone density, eye sight. My alteimers isn't age, it' something else, asd? For first time clarity as my son is colour blind and no, it's not genetic. It is celiac caused it and now my claims of pregnancy causing my health issues is validated for first time. Alteimers can also cause baby be born colour blind. ( you said your a doctor, hence knowledge on terramines

Alzheimer's?
Have you had a diagnosis of Alzheimer's?
It is more than dementia. Caused by b-amyloid protein plaques in the brain.
There is also dementia with Lewey bodies caused by A- synuclein proteins that are misfolded.
Dementia is a cognitive decline not caused by the above plaques on the brain.
A neurologist can do MRI and small nerve biopsies to find out if it's Alzheimer's or Lewey bodies.

I'm not an MD. I'm retired pharmacist. My major in Uni was medical arts.
