Best "Worst" Movies

You know those movies? The ones people say are "so bad, they're good"? I tend to LOVE those. My favorites are as listed:

  • Batman & Robin
  • Earth Girls are Easy
  • Van Helsing

Not seen Batman & Robin, but the other two I do enjoy watching from time to time if I'm in the right mood.

My additions to the list?

Skyline - Great special effects, but everything else was horrible.

Stealth - I usually skip the talking and just watch the flight/destruction scenes. The one below is a good one.

Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance - Had some cool scenes like when he's attacking the villains with a hellfire mining machine, but nothing beyond that.

Barbarella - I'll let Brandon Tenold deal with this one:

Hehehe. Transformers!!!!

The Room. I haven't seen the whole movie, but the scenes I've watched are entertaining enough.

I wholeheartedly agree. You should definitely watch the whole thing, it's the very definition of a film so bad that it's good. My friends and I have seen it multiple times because it's just so hilarious.

I kind of have a "love/hate" thing with Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings and Hobbit movies, everyone loves them to bits but to me they're massively overrated IMO.

And when it first came out, everyone went mad for James Cameron's Avatar, I went to see it and wasn't that impressed to be honest, sure the graphics were amazing but the story felt tacked on IMO.

I remember been forced by my Dad to watch the Lord of the Rings trilogy when I had no interest in ever watching it. Worse, it was the extended versions which seem to last forever.
As for the Hobbit trilogy, I only watched the bits with Smaug due to my love of dragons.

Yeah that one was on ITV 1 last night, I didn't watch it, I watched a recording of Top of the Pops from 1982 instead.

Showgirls
Battlefield Earth
Plan Nine from Outer Space (love it so much I own it)
anything by Uwe Boll

and

anything featured on MST3K (I am a GINORMOUS Mistie!)

snakes on a plane, and jack frost; from 1998,cheesy but festive and good, ive not seen it this year though.

Sadly, I found Snakes on a Plane to be not bad enough :) Though, as always, Samuel L Jackson is well worth watching.

LOL,i know its not terrible but found the CGI to be SO cheesy,i hate CGI in the middle of a 'real life' film.
and i can most definitely agree on samuel...not to change the subject of the original topic but what was your favourite samuel movie? i love his voice! its an amazing american variation to me-im ignorant on what state he is from.

How has no one mentioned Mars Attacks????

ACK ACK!!!!!!

And yes, Barbarella. Jane Fonda in her prime. Holy smokes. As a young lad, the opening credits changed my life.

Oh my god I can't believe I forgot Sharknado! Although the last one I saw was just too ridiculous.
Same! I still liked the second one. But the third one was really over the top, and seemed to take itself serious in a way that the first two hadn't.
