Camping with my wolfie.

So I have my alpha wolf camping with me today. I left the other two home. We boated to the campsite, and now he has learned to not hop out of the boat while underway. It was very undignified being lifted/helped back into the boat.

It just doesn't get much better than this. Quiet, breeze off the water, shady campsite, and of course a wolf to share it with

Could almost be a picture from 15,000 BC. What type dog is it? A wolf-dog hybrid? Or do you have actual wolves? A close up of the dog would be nice. I'm a Chihuahua person myself but all dogs (and canids) fascinate me.

That must be amazing. I would give anything to be able to camp in nature. It calls me like nothing else does. I just go into a trance in a wooded area.

Now I am thinking about the arbortorium I would walk through on occasion, when I was living on my own.

Nice wolf or dog or hybrid. I think wolves are beautiful. I have a siberian husky. They have a somewhat similar appearance to wolves. Actual wolves are not allowed where I live but my husky is awesome.

This is my husky burrowed under the bed spread. The frame on the wall contains a printed copy of one of my macrophotography pictures.

They are 2 brother and a half sister. She is oldest, then the one here with me. then the younger brother. They share a father.
They are all 1/16 malamute. She is 1/16 coyote. She is 7/8 wolf. The boys are 1/8 coyote, and 13/16 wolf.
As i type this, Atsila is using me as a pillow.

The rest of the story

Atsila lost interest in his camping adventure on the second day. Every time I approached the boat, he made it clear he wanted to be back in it. He also got very much underfoot and a bit yip-ey. Apparently he didn't actually learn to stay in the boat, since he jumped out again on the return. I'll camp with him again, but not boat camping again.
