We actually played a couple of games earlier thanks to this thread. I was beaten both times, but the second game was a very close one.

I downloaded a Chess game nn Xbox One a while back, petty good stuff, need to relearn the game so I can get all the achievements.

Is that Pure Chess? I thought about downloading that on either PS4 or XB1 but I'm not sure I'd play it enough to warrant buying it. Plus we have two chess sets in the house.

I played some online chess but it got pretty lonely pretty fast. I should have joined the chess club. So many regrets.

yes but poorly, i haven't studied any of the moves, i like to open up randomly, then put out the fires and then play for a draw :)

It's an interesting game though, where I find setting up multiple moves ahead of time is sort of like counting cards in Blackjack. But with many more variables.

Learning to play the game fundamentally was never a problem. Learning to play it well....that's another story. :p

Cards are mathematically finite. Chess? Hmmmm.
