Communication conflicts

@Chance I think you did very well, There are many out there that will use their status as some type of right to be treated like some type of god, You held your patience, This is a big success as far as I am concerned, I could never do good with this type of arrogant

Poppet sounds demeaning if that was in fact, what she said.

Perhaps a term of endearment for some but on par with ‘love’, darlin’, sweet-cheeks and so on.

His name is Chance, not poppet ? :)

I didn’t get written up (thank goodness)... They explained to her that I would have helped her (with her dead golf cart) IF I had not already been very busy with other things. They also reminded her I was not maintanence personel, but simply enjoyed being outside and the soil and science end of the greens and golf course was where my responsibilities remain.

Hopefully she will cool off and let me be. This wasn’t the first time she has been sort of ruthless with me, but it never had escalated like this.

People are tough to deal with... toss a nice dose of ASD into that mix (while trying to hide it) and it gets to feeling impossible really fast. : ) But its over IF I can get over it...

I have this thing where I just relive stuff over and over and its so stupid and I try to stop, but it mostly stops on its own when it ready it seems.

It sounds like she is simply an awful person and you just happened to be on her radar when she wanted to be particularly awful.

The way I handle such people is to remind myself that they are miserable, and so, make others miserable.
 
Thought she might have meant Chance was their favourite. Cos I bet you are, you're so loyal and hardworking. Whereas puppet sounds just silly. She's mean.
 
Well you did better than I would have done. I have mastered 2 emotions, happy and angry. And I probably would have exploded at the cow and winded up in jail. I will never understand this life. I am now leaning toward an aspie breeding program... the world has gone mad.
 
This was about a customer? I had this image of someone like Leona Helmsley demanding that a hotel manager or CEO coming up to her penthouse suite to turn over her mattress. :p :eek:

Yeah, sadly such people are out there as Chance found out. But I think the important thing is what upper management did to Chance as a result of this unfortunate incident. -Nothing. :cool:

It's infuriating, but you nor upper management can control the temperament of overly irate- and wealthy customers.

They chose to let it all blow over, so it's probably in your best interest to do the same, Chance. Stuff like this happens on occasion, but clearly your employer did the right thing. Pay lip service to an obnoxious customer and little else.


The good news is that Leona is dead and won't be showing up at Chance's golf club any time soon.

No I stayed quiet and she raged on till she had them furious... Kind of hard to jump all over me, when she did them just like she did me...

Some people are just so messed up at so many levels... and we are supposed to be the messed up ones????
Its all so confusing... : )
