dating someone for about a week now

An update with this person. He invited me to see a movie with his friends.
I asked him if he wanted to see Oppenheimer, and at another time since we were going to see Barbie. He seemed to hesitate on this and be unsure. He told me about his upcoming schedule of 8 hours a week and 7 days a week, but I didn't know when it started. He wouldn't tell me when he would (try to) sleep or be available at all when I asked him, and that was turning me off.
Yesterday, I met an acquaintish friend who told me that I've spent enough time with said person that it is okay for me to ask him awkward questions such as where does he live, and where exactly does he work again, and his actual real name. Maybe not financial stuff, but other stuff would be considered more okay after a month according to this person. I was thinkinng maybe after 2-3 months, it would be okay to ask a person this or that, but I guess there is no "rule" per se. It's nice to know that one couple at least thinks one month is a good enough barometer too.

Last minute almost, he asked me to have dinner with his friends before movie. I agreed to both, but with the dinner, I said we might be late to it and we might not have much to eat because we would be at a food festival right before. At the very last minute he says his stomach is feeling off and he completely cancels Our texts back and forth were not entirely reciprocative. I think he knew that after this particular date, I was going to let him know in-person 1-1 that it isn't working romantically. I had thought of letting him know via text so that I wouldn't be "wasting" time, but I decided it felt more human to try to let him know in-person gently because I really did care and I don't get a lot of potential matches. I don't regret trying. If he reaches out to me at this point, (which I don't expect, but if he actually does), I'll only be asking for fwb- I know it's probably not want he wants and that is fine. It takes the commitment pressure off and we didn't work the regular way. After one whole week passes, I'll remove my contacts and social media contacts of him so that I don't accidentally contact him if there is no communication whatsoever.
