Do you ever think about the colors of different flavored sweets?

I would like to know, do you ever think about the colors of different flavored sweets and how inconsistent they can be from one product to another? For example, a pink candy can be strawberry flavored in one product but can be watermelon flavored in another product.

Would you have a certain color scheme that you would consider "ideal"? Here is my preferred color scheme if I were to introduce my own candy:

Cherry - Red
Strawberry - Pink
Peach - Peach
Orange - Orange
Lemon - Yellow
Lime - Light Green
Apple - Medium Green
Watermelon - Dark Green
Raspberry - Blue
Grape - Purple

I am ok with most anything except blue in foods that should not be blue. Absolutely no blue ice-cream unless it is caused from real berries.

I would like a green one to be kiwi fruit flavoured and a yellow one to be mellon flavoured, because I don't like lemon or lime.
I would lke blueberry flavoured sweets. Also, blackberries and blackcurrent. The darker the berry the better.

Depends what they use to get the colours, certain additives and stuff are allegedly bad for you, especially for young children.

Also:

Orange = chicken madras
Green= jalepeno peppers and nachos.
Light brown = creamed mushrooms.
Red = lasagne
Light red = spag bol with parmasan cheese.
Pink = smoked salmon and cream cheese.
White = gorgonzola.
Brown = Yorkshire pudding with gravy.
Yellow with holes - Emmental cheese.

I made content to randomize colors of
gumballs with different flavors. Some more
appropriate matches than others.

I love sweets with lots of colors. Though yes, I usually connect color to flavor, which isn't always the case!

Oh well. Aesthetically pleasing whether you eat them or just look at them. It's all good. :)

Blue and raspberry never seem to match up in my head... I have only seen and eaten very red raspberries.

However, there are some in my refrigerator (right now) that seem to going into a situation of a very bad transformation, and blue is not part of that process either... gag

I still have to clean out my fridge to finish my list for today... but I dislike that process, yet I will go do it... gross.

To me if it's green colored it should be apple flavored. Red- Cherry flavored. Yellow- Banana flavored and so on.

Sweets and colors are cool... but what color does the number 9 smell like?
Thats my mind blowing question of the day... and for some reason I say Blueberry. : )

I try not to eat anything with sugar, or artificial chemicals. If I want a “Sweet” I eat fresh fruits like bananas, oranges, blackberries, blueberries, or strawberries; or add honey to steel cut oatmeal, or fresh puréed pumpkin, or sweet potato.
