I cannot think of anything else. I love shopping have not been in so long.

I buy plants (that's my weakness). I buy stocks, silver and gold coins (investments). I really don't "shop", per se. Maybe once every other year or so, I might buy clothing. I generally don't buy "stuff".

People say they like my style. I don't have anything specific style wise other than enjoying earthy green colours, dark blues and greys. I don't like loud colours, patterns, designer or slogan clothing. I prefer plain, but the rest of my look is alternative, so it all blends together. Outside of skater shoes, my clothing is simple and functional. I also hate cheaply made items, of any description. Especially all this tat that apps like Wish and the like sellm

I enjoyed wearing 3 piece suits when I worked in office jobs.

Most of my money for the past year has gone on my van project, Boxanne.

The rest of my spare money goes on food. I spend a lot of money on food and snacks.

Also music is another thing I enjoy purchasing.

I don't really like going shopping that much, but that's probably because I've spent most of my adult life buying expensive things on credit and paying the debt off super quick, giving myself very little free money for shopping.

Online is my primary mode for shopping. Other than food shopping which is done in person.

Shopping doesnt happen for me much, not in the way you probably mean. It's not a matter of cost in my case... money isnt an issue for me. Rather, there's nowhere to go. Middle of nowhere, I tell ya. The stores around here are a Meijer (supermarket) and Walmart (other supermarket) and that's really about it. Well, no, there are other stores, but they're all clothing focused for some reason, like Kohls. There's also a Farm 'N Fleet, but there's nothing for me there. If I'm willing to drive into the Stupid Zone, there's a dead mall, and a store that focuses on board games (the one store I like going to, also the hardest to get to). And even the closest of the stores takes like 20 minutes to get to.

Also though my interests are limited. Video games are my primary interest, but I dont buy those in stores, I use Steam for that. Havent bought a game from an actual brick-and-mortar store in years. There's the board game store, that's another major interest, but I dont actually buy new ones all that often (unlike a lot of people in that hobby, who always have to buy the New Hotness every time one comes out, and each game gets played just one time and then goes on the shelf... never understood that approach). I also have a tendency to use things that I already have and not replace them or upgrade until they totally fall apart. I dont know why I do that. Well, no, some of that is depression, but other than that, not sure why.

So, when I buy anything that isnt groceries it's probably ordered online. Which of course isnt the same as real shopping. Used to be that the mall was the place to go, a big exciting place full of things to see and do, but... yeah it's dead. Hardly anything left. A real shame, there was always something special about going there. Even the department stores are gone.

I would also buy art supplies but there's no such store nearby. There is a Blick's store in the region, but that's over an hour away. Too far. Most of my art supplies come from this monthly subscription box I get, so I never know what's going to be in it. Pretty good deal really.

As for clothes? No. I've never had any interest. I get random shirts and such at Christmas every year from family and that makes up what passes for a wardrobe for me. That might change when I manage to deal with my stupid gender problems, but for now, dont care.

I'm agoraphobic so I buy most things online these days, except clothes and shoes because I need to be able to see them physically before buying.

I love shopping for music, especially vinyl records and CDs. And hifi gear to play the music. All other kinds of shopping are a chore.

My favorite article of clothing is a windbreaker designed for bicycling that I got for 20% of new cost at Goodwill. Apart from that one, which needs to be visible, I hope nobody notices my clothes. I don't, until they develop holes. Getting to the city for health food is a major effort. The things I enjoy shopping for are bargain tools, used, and exotic materials, new. I've can produce aerospace-grade parts in my home shop.

I like going to antique and resell stores for music boxes. I’ve found some interesting ones such as a musical lazy Susan tray and a Rocky and Bullwinkle music box.

I hate shopping for groceries, clothes, and basically boring things that I need. Shopping for things I don't need and are "worthless" and "immature", such as toys, video games, or even arts and craft supplies. Of course it would be more acceptable in this society to be wasting money on alcohol and drugs. I miss my home planet so much.

Not really? I usually only buy things I actually need and only throw away stuff when its thoroughly spent. Not long ago I put together my first gaming computer and despite doing so in the most economical way possible, putting it together myself and limiting myself to parts that were entirely tax free, I still disliked the thought of spending so much money.

I do weirdly enjoy buying groceries at discounted prices, right now I'm even trying to gather enough energy to go the super market since there are a lot of today only discounts for a lot of stuff that I usually buy lol.

It sounds like you all have a lot of money to burn.

Anyone else have kids and a mortgage? I can barely afford food, let alone shopping.

I like having plenty in my house. I like having enough groceries. Proper clothing for the weather. I like making what I can with my hands. I like making do with what I have. But yes, it is fun to window shop too. I really enjoy buying gifts for others.

You poor thing. Kids and a house :expressionless:

It is really hard to make ends meet as a single parent, especially when you have autism and/or are struggling with trauma and other disabilities.

Yup, I know. It's even harder when your kids are also autistic with trauma and life-threatening physical conditions, or when you're trying to support everyone on disability pay. I'd sell the house but my mortgage is cheaper than rent. At least there's that.
