I "need" to sleep with my lower legs raised, and my feet hanging off a plump pillow, and the backs of my calves need to be on the pillow, particularly the left one, I don't know why, I have nothing wrong with my legs. I can sleep without, but I much prefer to sleep that way. I also used to like having a pillow by the side of me, when laid on my side, but I always wake up on my back.
