Does anybody know anything about this form of autism (High Emotional Intelligence)?

@Xickin, You probably already have heard of this if you have been doing your own research, but I had a page bookmarked (which has since been moved and I can't find it anymore) that talked about 2 terms related to EI and autism that may help you refine your searches:

1. Ability EI

2. Trait EI. If I remember correctly, this had more to do with what you are describing, it was along the lines of self reflection from the individual.
 
There is a lot of misinformation on us, I can read people, much like Temple Gradin can read animals. yet I should not be on the spectrum. You're in good company. My older brother was for the most part emotionless. Yet we were both on the spectrum. I always looked after him. I miss him dearly now that he has passed away.
