landverrader!Overall I am not a fan of Dutch contributions. This may be because we usually send boring acts and our media is always absolutely convinced we’re securing the win, and during the live broadcast it’s mostly complaints about other countries and favoritism. I’m not much of a patriot, haha. I usually prefer the Balkan countries because they deliver the best camp.
Most memorable Eurovision moment for me was watching Dana International win in 1998. I think that was the moment I became fully aware of trans people being people too (it sounds so terrible saying this now, but I was a pretty sheltered 12-year old kid and the only context in which I heard the word “trans” was to call someone a transvestite and/or travesty as a curse word)
She was such a force to be reckoned with, an empowered, formidable woman. I was obsessed. I played Diva so much, my parents “lost” the CD, mysteriously.
Oei, betrapt!landverrader!
I thought all the songs were so good this year (I listened to every single one of them), but these two were my favorites. I do have kind of odd taste in music though, compared to most people.
Poland's entry was a runner up for me. My girlfriend and I listen to a lot of Polish pop music so I'm used to this style. This singer reminds me a lot of Viki Gabor and Carla Fernandes.
Yeees! And really happy we finally had a great song and show to offer with NemoAnyone here watching Eurovision in Malmö? The finale is tonight. This was the best thing on tv yesterday, 12 points to Swedens interval act. "Please don't be angry with us, we just love Eurovision too much"

Thank you for that, in that caseCongratulations to you guys with the big win. Huge win, so many points.
The less said about us this year the better. Norway got 16 points... 16! Last place. For the 12th time...
I guess we can say we are very good at finishing last. But you know what, this year two Norwegians were part of writing the winning song for Switzerland. So we won a little in a way.
Trying to watch the winning song made me dizzy!
Forest Cat, I'm rooting for Norway anyway. They should try something like this and maybe even start attacking a few countries for dramatic effect.
You should see the one Finland should have won with last year.
Cha cha cha!
We messed up this year, we sent the band Gåte. Imagine being one of the most popular bands in a country and you have been that since the 90s. Sold tons of records, played hundreds of concerts. Then you have a go at Eurovision and you end up in last place... That's not funny. But they were the wrong band for Eurovision, everything was too Norwegian and they sang in Norwegian. But next year we are coming back strong. Winning.
