EXTREMELY SERIOUS POLL

Do you like pie and if so what kind of pie?

I like pumpkin, apple, and strawberry, in no particular order. I sometimes like pecan pie but only if it doesn't have raisins in it. I think I once had a pie with chocolate mousse in it that was really good....it was basically just chocolate pie.

I also like Boston Cream Pie, which isn't really a pie but a cake.....

And I like vegetarian shepherd's pie with beans instead of meat, which isn't really a pie, either (at least not the version I am familiar with) .....

Strawberry rhubarb first, then lemon curd pie, then apple pie made properly by a girlfriend with yellow transparent 'pie' apples from her trees, that she peels and slices and lets marinate overnight in cinnamon/honey and lemon juice.

My hometown newspaper often reported the going's on of a local ladies club. When they voted for something, they each had the name of their favourite pie as their name. So lemon meringue ayed, seconded by peach pie. I thought of it as usual, until someone pointed out that it was funny.

Except that I don't like apple pie. (How UnCanadian of me.) Cooked apples gross me out.
