I've had a few phases of a mild lack of fashion sense.
1) When I was a preteen I refused to wear long-sleeve shirts because I'd seen commercials with kids wearing them and didn't want to look like that.
2) I used to wear a windbreaker in cold weather thinking it was a standard jacket.
3) I used to think sunglasses were only for summer.
4) I've worn sweatshirts in the rain not realizing they're not waterproof.
