Food Food Food

I have never tried beetroot either. I forgot to add on my other post that I don't drink alcohol. I know quite a few people that don't drink.

I suppose I just don't like trying anything new if theres the slightest risk I wont like it, but I'm getting more adventurous.

Same here. I've never tried beetroot either.

I'm also being more adventurous with food as well now and trying new things. The way I see it, you don't know for sure that you won't like something until you give it a try. If you try it and hate it then you don't have to think about it again and can avoid that food in future. Who knows? Maybe that food that you avoid may be one you really like. For example, I used to avoid pasta for years but once I tried it I actually started eating quite a lot of it.

One thing I've noticed though is that I have a habit of ordering the same food when at the takeaway or restaurant. Even if they sell food that I like I seem to just order the exact same thing every time. I'd maybe change the side order but nothing major.

I have very over-active taste-buds and I have been known to react badly (in social ways) to food. Like running to the nearest bin and spitting it out!

I can't eat peaches, runner-beans or anything that is hairy. It is very painful. Note: I can't pick peaches up either for the same reason!

I'm addicted to raw beef. As a child when other children bought candy with their pocketmoney i was at the butchers buying meat offcuts. Today i eat at least 300 gr raw beef a day. I go to a local butcher in Italie, were they sell Piemontese beef. http://www.heartlandmeats.com/about/about.htm
I buy half a steers ass and generally consume that in a month.
Here i am preparing my candy:

I didn't come to actually think that you could actually eat RAW food... technically its bad for your health as it is most likely to give you food poisoning.

Some raw foods you can actually eat by itself but I don't know about RAW meat?

I've eaten beef sashimi in a Japanese restaurant. It was yummy.

I had a friend (Italian parents, born in Australia) who used to eat raw beef without any problems. He did take worming tablets regularly though.

I love a good parma ham. Raw, of course, with some melon or olives.

 You are funny. All carnivorous mammals eat raw meat and do fine by it. I had a few times intestinal worms but one pill and they are gone.
Here in france a standard menu choice is steak tartare Which is raw minced beef with oliveoil, spices and a raw egg.

Raw beef is actually way more healthy then prepared meat. The process of heating fat creates aromatic esthers which are very cancerogenous. Baked/grilled food are about the worst things you can eat.
I wrote an article on it, here's the text: http://petrossa.wordpress.com/2010/04/16/the-disease-fat-does-not-exist/

Im addicted to bacon Not raw but bacon you bring me a pound and Ill be your best friend

Wise decision. Pork is a hostanimal for a very nasty worm which can transmit larvae. The larvae eat their way through your body and feast on your organs. Very icky death to see 1000's of worms crawling out of your skin. It's most probably the reason why eastern religions are forbidden to eat pork.

Beef can only transmit grown worms, so they stay in your gut.

So I assume that you can catch this worm from parma ham (which is usually eaten raw)?

Scratch that from the menu then.

I'm obsessed with Pasta, chicken, mayo and sweetcorn.
So a chicken ceasar salad is my fave food, cause it has all these and more :D

I'm obsessed with Pasta, chicken, mayo and sweetcorn.

I didn't try pasta for years then one day I decided to give it a go and loved it. Same thing with mayo. I almost always will take chicken over other meat and I like sweetcorn too. Today though, I had a beef burger for the first time in donkeys.

Oh god, I haven't had one of them in ages either!
I'm in craving for a pizza right now, really bad, and it's 11:08 in the morning!

I am a picky eater, and my parents got on my case about it regularly as I grew up.

Bell peppers are nasty, and onions aren't much better. Most vegetables I think are nasty, although I have to eat them otherwise I get constipation.

I am a total food snob and make much of my food from scratch. It's a juggling act for me to eat because if my food tastes bad or boring for more than one meal I become unhappy; and I have to eat regularly because my blood sugar is finicky and often drops when I need to eat. When my blood sugar is low it destroys my morale and makes me very snippy, and I can't do anything requiring thinking or concentration.

But I do love pasta and cheese, peanut butter, homemade bread, many kinds of sweet things, and cooking any animal whole (like a chicken or fish).

For me, mayonnaise (or Miracle Whip for that matter) and milk are two of the most disgusting things in the world. The sight, thought, or smeel makes me gag. Somehow though, mayo and milk magically become ok when mixed with tuna and cereal, respectively. It's really weird!

Yea, I actually thought that aswell about mayonnaise, I just don't like eating it alone or with chips.

Omg!! Mayonaise and chips is de-lish!
It's a dutch thing, my friend told me about it ages ago cause she lived there for a while, and I always thought it sounded nasty, and it TASTES nasty too with fast-food-fries, but with proper or oven chips, it's like.. heaven!
