Oh, yeah. That is definitely racist. I never noticed that, tho. To be fair, I was reading the book before I was old enough to even know how to read. Just looking at the pictures just like any other little kid.
 
I agree and understand why Fawlty towers, come fly with me and little Britain were banned for racism but on BBC TV tonight they showed Dad's Army, on this show a character calls a group of people fuzzy wuzzies.
