When I send a birthday greeting
to a person who hasn't been here
for awhile, I think----what am I doing?
How does this seem to anyone else?
I don't know how it seems to anyone else.

To me it is a wish for those members
where ever they are now, to have a pleasant
day/life. It may be that sometime they might return.

Although it may be foolish to address people I
have not met and wish them happiness,
the practice seems hopeful to me, for me,
and for the people in general.

When I make a birthday wish for a person
who hasn't been here in a couple years, I
think about A. retention rate of the forum
B. the happiness/satisfaction of the person
with the forum & life activities in general.

Hope things are going well for you on this
particular anniversary of your birth. :icecream::shortcake:
