Happy, happy camping!!

It's cheaper and more effective than therapy.
Agree to 120%. Always feel better after my trips. I like going during non busy periods. I happy this year I can afford doing more trips than last year.

What I would like to do when I own a car is ask my employer if I can have some days I can work while camping. Many places I go to I have data coverage and many places I can find WiFi too. I find I could be more productive if he aloud me to do this.

We once went camping on a weekend at a popular campground during the summer. It was horrible. Now we go off season or weekdays or the most unpopular places we can.

Hope your boss will let you. I don't know what the place where you work is like but work camping has to be better. Of course you'd be more productive.

Update:

The tent kept us dry through two storms. The sleeping pads were super comfy. Oklahoma has really sad looking state parks. There is now a tick loose in the bathroom.:)

I sprayed my clothing before my trip and also got lotion. Also had a bug jacket. The first year the bugs was not bugging me.

One trip I did got a few ticks on me. I glad someone told me about them. I still have this tick remover I need to pick up from the UPS store one day.

We have something to spray our clothes with, but it's lost somewhere in the tool closet. We've tried Off but it does nothing for ticks so we got something that starts with a P that only goes on clothes. Is that what you use? It works? Since ours is still lost in the closet we haven't had the chance to test it out. And what's a bug jacket?

Yes I used Permethrin. I can't remember how to spell it. I cheat with Google. I never got any ticks on me even tough the park ranger said there are some ticks around.

This is the bug jacket I used last trip. It even keeps no-see-ums out. I like the fact there a zipper near the neck area should you want your face out the jacket. It was the time of year of many bugs. Many people saw me wished they had my jacket.

Glad to hear Permethrin works. We go to places where we have had to stop about every tenth of a mile to remove about 30 ticks or so off our pant legs. And then there are the seed ticks. Last time we got into those we had to take our pants off in the parking lot and use duct tape on our legs to get all of them off. Wonderful fun. Most of the time we wouldn't need the bug jacket, we rarely have much problems with anything but ticks and a handful of mosquitoes. But I wish we had had a couple of those bug jackets on the Outer Banks. Lots of mosquitoes and bitey bugs there.

Wow that would be a pain. I got very lucky it never happen to me. Something I should look out more because I do all trips alone.

I think one day I got bite mosquito. This might been the day I wore a pair of socks that didn't have Permethrin. I'm going to order more so I can cover 100% clothing I wearing for the whole trip. Last time I was only able to do 80%.
