Have you ever made your own Wine/Beer?

No, my aunt makes her own wine though. I don't like wine so I really haven't had it.

Just watched an old episode of the 70's comedy On the Buses where the late Reg Varney made and got drunk on his own beer, and it made me think.

Apparently home brewing was really popular during the 70s, according to Back in Time for the Weekend. IIRC it was said in that programme that you could buy home-brew kits at Boots the chemist!

Oh, and we accidentally fermented home canned peaches once, we stored them in the fridge door lower rack which is apparently the perfect temperature for fermentation haha. They were so good on ice cream.....
