Have you noticed?

Like I said (and probably what the OP means), some threads just need an answer for a particular situation then once it's been answered it doesn't really need posting in again so it's understandable why it dies.

But some threads ask for an open discussion about something timeless and it's a shame to see everyone get bored of it at the same time and let the thread die when so much more can be discussed (I don't mean debates or arguments, but just comparing answers or ideas, etc). On the site I was banned from, threads like that interested members for years, but I'm not talking about games or "what did you last eat?" threads. They're boring and pointless to me.
