hear me out..same restaurants

I know you are autistic. I am too, and my daughter as well. But if I had cooked up a breakfast for her, on the stove, and she flat out rudely refused to eat it, I'd say "You get what you get and you don't throw a fit."

Same goes if my daughter worked hard in the kitchen. I'd eat what she made for me.

I have all kinds of sameness and texture issues, but if someone gave me the gift of a warm meal (especially every single day for over a year!), I would be sure to eat what I could, at least a couple bites, even if I was full. And I'd be grateful for a warm, home cooked meal.

At least take a couple bites for the woman that slaved over the stove for you. The eggs are still eggs. If you want something grainy, have a slice of toast. It tastes like oatmeal.

What would you do if finances constrain the ability to buy eggs, and all you have is oatmeal, or a slice of bread?

I know you are an aspie, but it's a waste of food, money, and it's incredibly rude.
i understand where you're coming from truly! i would react in the same way if my mom did cook that for me every morning, she doesn't though. i make the eggs and oatmeal myself, my parents buy groceries for me, ive offered to pay countless times but they don't want me to. my mom always tells me not to worry about it, ive been unemployed for a few months now. i recently started working full-time just this week and she knows how tough that's been on me. ive had a weird work situation as i mentioned above, i know its not an excuse but if my mom made it for me for over a year i would eat it but she doesn't. im thinking about buying my own groceries once i start getting paid again too. i might've not provided enough context for the conversation and i do apologize for it. :)

I'm sorry. I had a very rough morning. I didn't mean to have that attitude. I'm going to delete my post. Have a nice day.
awe no! no worries whatsoever. :)
frankly when i reread my original post again you did seem right. i sounded like i didn't provide enough context, you don't need to delete anything! i hope you have a nice day!

I often go to the same restaurants, and have a tendency to have favourites I "often" purchase

But I am open to new experiences as well

Travel food? I have lots of experiences of all sorts from my prairie wanderings through small towns, a ham and cheese sandwich (hastily made by the bar tender) at the bar where the kitchen was closed for the day (Sunday afternoon)... The cheese burger at a small town Chinese restaurant that was literally a burger with just cheese (no veggies!), but then also have had excellent home cooked food in small towns as well, and even a fully trained Indian chef in a small Alberta town with excellent gorumet quality meals for rather cheap...
