Hello from vegan from Czechia

Hi Vlady :)

welcome to af.png

@Vlady, l am low fat plant based no oil salt or sugar, and within two months lost 10 pound, dropped blood pressure, cured insomnia, depression and going to cure my diabetes. I love this way of eating.

As a vegan you've done one better than me, well done! I've been a strict vegetarian since 1996 and have thought about going all the way a few times, but it's a bigger step and unlike vegetarian food, most stuff isn't marked as vegan in the supermarket so you're forced to read all the ingredients list, also a lot of people forget that you have to be careful with clothing too, in fact I understand you're not allowed to use anything that has something in it from animals.

I don't miss meat and I prefer "real" vegetarian food, rather than pretend meat, but I've got nothing against it either because it's not doing any harm to animals and if it helps some people stop eating meat then it's a good thing. I was only chatting to my friend today about the UK mainstream supermarket chain Tesco which is releasing a vegan steak that apparently tastes like steak and is very difficult to tell, not that I can even remember what meat tastes like to compare:

Tesco To Launch 'Breakthrough' Vegan Steak In 400 Stores Nationwide

They state it's the first plant made steak like it in the world, but it definitely isn't, here's another that's been around for sometime, I don't know what it tastes like, but to me it looks a lot more like real steak:

Anyway, welcome to ASPIESCentral! :)
