Hello

I have Asperger's Syndrome. I have developed normally from birth to age 16 months. At the age of 16 months, I had "regressive autism"(read about it here:Regressive autism - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia) and lost my speech, social skills, and adaptive functioning to autism. So I had a very unusual and rare early development compared to other aspies and autistics. I did not speak again until I was 5, when I made big improvements in my recovery. I improved and evolved into Aspergers Syndrome and was officially diagnosed at age 6.

My favorite interests are oceanography and I like sailing, the seas, and biology. My favorite TV shows are 'Future Boy Conan', 'Pokemon', 'Dragonball', and 'Sailor Moon'. By the way, I am also from WrongPlanet, which I have used for 6 months now.

Welcome Conan. (can I call you Conan?)

Cool interests! I am a fan of cephalopods, so we have a bit of overlap there. Also; when I was on my retro-anime kick I came across Future Boy Conan. I will have to revisit that one some time. So much anime, so little time!

My hobbies are watching anime, swimming, reading oceanography books, and I am also planning on building a sailboat. My personality traits are cool, smart, energetic, and never wants to give up. My dream is to become an oceanographer and use the seas resources to make the world better and more advanced like cure cancer and rare diseases with deep sea resources. I find it quite rare that I find an Aspie that wants to be an oceanographer too.

Welcome aboard :)
