Hello~

@Sarah S - I love Japanese car culture, and am a fan of drifting - my car kinda reflects that - but I'm a little less Fast and Furious Drifter and a little more Midnight Club / Wangan Midnight / Freeway Speedway. A car that is stable at top speed, and designed to be swift and nimble on the highway. Mad Max, the original pursuit special, is the inspiration for my car. I named her Hannya (A Japanese demon) but her nickname is The Road Shark. I've been told by friends that seeing me come up on them through traffic was like watching a shark close in for a strike. I removed the original 2.4L inline-4 and replaced it with a modified and upgraded 2.5L inline-6 turbocharged engine, rebuilt and upgraded the entire suspension, upgraded the brakes wheels tires and hubs, installed a 1000W stereo system, racing seat and harness - and lots and lots more - all done by me. Of all the things I've built, I'm most proud of my car.

I love driving, esp driving fast and tight. Someday I hope to take her on a track.

That's a sharp lookin car. I bet yours looked slick in red.

Thats cool we all have our diffent taist

WOW thats a Rad car very nice :) and the fact that you have manged to mod all this should tell you YOURE GOOD at this so youre most defenetly NOT a failure as you think you are. Im deeply impressed

needles to say DO be careful and dont loose youre licence due to driving to fast and most important STAY SAFE out there and dont risk anyone else being hurt and im fine with it  (yes i have also been a nut behind the Wheels when i was well lets just say recently had my licence ;) )

It did and above all that roaring V8 sent chills all thru my body :) & if i ever have the chance i WILL get a new VERY BIG ,LARGE ,Roaring V8 , NO chance in ..... To paralel park highway glider again ;):)

@Sarah S I like all cars, and generally get long with most car people. I tend to get self conscious cos of the attitude on a lot of online car communities - "autism" gets used as a slur more than I'd like, but there's a few places where people seem to have decent attitudes. I'm glad you like my work. Here's my engine.

As for my driving - thanks for the concern, I am mindful of my driving, and it's possible effects on others. I am lucky enough to live near several 2-, 3-, and 4-lane roads, with speed limits ranging from 55 to 75 mph - not to mention some nice banked turns - it's entirely possible to have fun driving fast AND not break traffic laws. And when I really want to go wild, I use my computer for sim racing - I've got a wheel and pedals for it and everything. The fun thing is, my real car is often in the racing games I play, and the game car handles like my real car , and vice versa.

I've often considered getting an old police crown victoria z71 package, they're cheap as chips for V8 rear wheel drive cruising. My dad had 2 V8 mustangs over the years, a 1990 GT and a 1999 Cobra, and they both sounded really nice. Hope you find yourself a new V8 to enjoy :D

@Sarah S - I have a second car, a Honda Civic, but I don't like it very much and it's starting to get more problems than I think I want to deal with. I will probably be selling it and getting something else. The crown vic is a potential replacement for it. Might get a truck. Haven't decided yet.

I'm excited cos I'm getting a decent quality microphone this week in the mail, so I can start doing voice recordings. I sing, orate, and do voice characters. I'm also getting a second solar panel for a solar power station / cart I'm putting together. Mostly for running fans and tools outside and charging batteries, but I hope to one day tie it into the house. It wouldn't power the whole house, but you could run a few things off of it. I converted all of the lights in the house to LED, so it could power the lights and fans, some USB devices, and maybe a laptop, but not much more. Still nice in a power outage though.

I love working on projects - don't always get to. Build ALL the things!

If there is one thing ive learnt about cars its when they start to cost more and more money its time to get rid of them ( i had more then a few black money pitts ) . Im shore you'll find out what you want soon enough

Sweet. You know im also in to music have both played as well as sing. (nowadays not so mush singing tho as i now moved to an apartment.) and music have been a HUGE help in my life. COOL .

Thats good tho (thumbs up )

So i gather my friend :)

@Sarah S - Yeah, the Honda has rust on the windshield trim that lets water in, and rust on the trunk lip that lets water in. I do not want to deal with that. Rust in terrible places.

Oh? What kind of music do you like to listen to, and what kind of music do you like to sing to, if they are different? Music has been a big help in my life as well. Do you play any instruments?

Thats to bad but you should really take that on now while its less because if you dont Well lets just say NOT good

I listen to everything from good ol blues to well everything in between (NOT the mothern metall and all that junk tho (hard rock yes but more the Classic from my days ) im talking about good music. i have yes both base , drums but sadly i messed up my shoulder due to terrible accident (ie a LARGE dog LOVELY dog tho that trapped me and i fell BADLY smached my entire right shoulder to dust ) BUT let me just clarify this was NOT the dogs fault and it was a accident i will forever love that dog. and further more the docs managed to fix up my shoulder very well (i was under for close to 4 hoers and they told me it was a struggle ) BUT im 15 % handicapped on it never the less and cant raise it above my breasts . SO i cant no longer play the drums anymore BUT im still okey it could have been MUCH worse belive me.

@Sarah S - I can understand that - I have a displaced rib because of an overly happy large doggie. I was raised around all kinds of animals, so I am used to the idea that they are like small children, and do not necessarily mean to harm, though they still can by accident.

Unfortunate that happened to you, but luckily you're ok now.

I started with things like violin and piano, but it proved difficult for my coordination, so I ended up in drums as well - and love it. I currently live in a condo, so I can't really have a drum set (and play it) but I want to get an electronic drum set eventually, cos I could play that here. And connect it to my computer for editing. And other neat stuff. There's a DJ called Offishal (I think) that used digital drum pads to make a dj beat station that you play like a drum set. It's pretty cool.

Have you ever tried making music electronically?

Yes this things do happen (this dog was a half Ovcharca a HUGE bear size dog of russia ) and the rest 25 % German Shepard & 25 % Dobermann so it was as i said a HUGE dog. and as i said it was an accident he ran (while in a LOONG strong rope ) and i dident have time to jump so he tripped me with the rope , i fell head on my arms took the fall and .............. I have been a complete animal nut since birth :p

Sweet yeah i started with clarinete actually but later i moved on to Electric base and also drums . yeah same story even if my arm was still in 100 % i now live in an apartment as well so .............. For me i whant the reel set tho but as i said nowadays i cant OH well  I do doodle on keyboard from time to time tho (music keyboard that is =Synterzize with speakers in them )

No not by computer and all that no im ol fashion :p

@Sarah S - Oh wow, I know those - big floofy sheppard! Dad was a dog trainer, so I grew up around big work dogs, german sheppards, doberman, rottweiler, mastiff - right now we have a black brindle Dutch sheppard that looks like a wolf. She's very smart. It was a very big german sheppard that sat on me and messed up my rib. He just wanted to cuddle, but he put his elbow in the wrong place.

I never got terribly good at playing anything other than drums, but playing with beat machines and loop mixers and stuff allows me to create music that I couldn't otherwise create. They can be pretty fun to play around with.

I prefer a real drum set as well - electronic sets don't quite have the right acoustic qualities - but in a pinch they're still fun to hammer away at. Truth be told I'll smack anything that makes a nice sound, and have been known to make beats and rhythms on anything that makes sounds when you hit it. To this day one of the most beautifully resonant sounds I've heard was the front fender from a 1968 Chevy 3100 pickup truck. It sang like a cross between a steel drum and a timpani if you struck it just right, resonated beautifully.

Who are some of your fav bands?

Well think of it as BIG BEAR like dogs (although mien was BIG yes and OH so Power ful but not as bear like as the pure breed)

similar to this. Thats cool but you cant compare the diffent Sp as you see on the pic these are MASSIVE and they DEMAND a GOOD STRONG leader & i had to take in the pros to train mien as he wasent even remotly trained when i took him as 1,5 years. Old ( relocation dog, had few over the years all former problem dogs ) BUT i did managed to get him sorted out (again with the help of a profetional dog trainer and ALLOT of work and patince & of course unconditional LOVE ) & will FOREVER miss him and im SO VERY PROUD of him (i sadly had to give him up after 2 years as he demanded more then i could give him with the exercise and all the rest ) Took that VERY hard :( BUT a few days after i got notice that a wolf and Bear tracker that works for the goverment had takend him and the new owner was impressed of how well behaved the dog was and last i read he was tracking Wolfs and bears up north :) (and to further make this Crystal clear DONT repeat DONT even think of getting one of these they are NOT meant as pets. (they are nicknamed Caucasian wolf KILLER). Yes this things do happen but as you say its NOT he animals fault its all accidents.

Thats cool and nothing wrong at all with that

Thats cool

Oh Kiss, Iron Maiden, Wasp , Twisted Sisters , Alice Cooper (ie the ones from when i was in the young teens )

@Sarah S - That's really cool - many people don't realize that certain animals have very specific care needs. Not every animal makes a good pet. Some animals shouldn't be pets.

Those are some really good bands. I like them too.

We have had people post themselves singing songs and l love it. We are very supportive and l have learned a lot about myself here.

Good news, everyone! I got my microphone in the mail the other day, got it set up, and it sounds great! I've also purchased the music studio software I wanted. I have some studio headphones coming in the mail this week as well. I've been playing with free versions of this software for a while (years), and have been studying the new version since I decided to get it. I'm making some changes to my bedroom to make it more sound friendly. Pretty soon I should have some music made. I will definitely share it here. This is very exciting!

@Sarah S - the deviant punk in me has always liked "We're Not Gonna Take it", so I want to do my own version of it as an experiment. Bif Naked did a version of it I always liked, too.

@Aspychata - I will certainly share my music, and will let you know when I do. I noticed there's a music subforum on here too, so I will post it there as well.

I'm in the last 2 weeks of my last two classes for my BAS degree, so I don't have quite as much free time as I'd like - but still plenty of time for making some tunes.

SWEET (high 5 )

Yeah i like that one as well :)

ROCK ON dude :p

Ugh, busy busy busy...

Classes are almost over, and I'll be done with my degree! I just have one final left to take.

I've been holding off from letting myself get lost in music makings until after I'm done, cos I know I'll get way too distracted if I do. Despite that, I have made one song already - a cover of the old travelers song Poor Wayfaring Stranger - but it needs a little more editing, and I want to change the video I have it playing over. And I'm working on a personal original. I've got most of the lyrics mostly hashed out, and am trying to assemble some more melody around it, tweaking the lyrics as i go, but I'm overall happy with the progress. I will post links to them once I'm happy with the final product.

@Sarah S - I think I may have found something I like better than a police crown victoria. A police Hemi Charger lol. I keep forgetting that those are available these days too.
