Firs time on a forum. I'm Si. I had a lifetime of misdiagnosis and was only correctly diagnosed with Autism at the age of 54 two years ago. I do have some co morbid conditions too though. Like others my Autism diagnosis was a 'lightbulb' moment for me & although my life hasn't got any easier int he past 2 years there is now more understanding of myself. I'm here to learn more & If I can summon up enough of whatever you call it, engage with others.

Thank you Outdated. It's good to know that times have changed & Children are getting more understanding & support than we ever did. Although probably still not enough.
