As a TA in Medical Microbiology I felt that I was on stage, and sometimes in my career I worked with very smart people and felt like the Red Queen, running just to stay in place.

Thank you. I hope so tooHi and welcome. Your grammar is excellent and I wouldn't have known English wasn't your first language. I can relate to what you say as I have masked well enough in many situations that I've probably made it difficult for myself when the masking fails because it's just perceived as me being awkward rather than experiencing a genuine difficulty. As with yourself, I hope that a formal diagnosis can help to foster understanding with the people I love.
